ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, in a hardworking, blue-collar family. That background shaped how I approach work and life—practical, grounded, and focused on what actually works in real situations.
I entered the financial services industry in 1999 with a simple focus: helping people make better financial decisions that improve their long-term position and reduce unnecessary complexity.
Over time, my work has developed into a clear and tailored approach to financial planning, helping individuals, families, and business owners make decisions around investments, retirement planning, taxation, and risk management.
I hold a degree in International Economics from the University of Waterloo and earned the Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2007. Alongside formal training, my approach has continued to evolve through ongoing learning and real-world experience with clients over many years.
How I work.
My focus is to understand where we are today and where we want to go.
Financial decisions are rarely purely technical. They involve priorities, changing circumstances, and the need to respond to life as it evolves.
My role is to help clients understand their situation clearly, organize their priorities, and make decisions they can act on with confidence.
Continuity:
Over more than 27 years in practice, I’ve built long-standing relationships with clients, families, and professional networks across Canada.
Many of these relationships extend across different stages of life and different financial needs.
That continuity matters. Financial planning is not a one-time event—it is an ongoing process that evolves as life does.
In summary
My work is built around one principle:
Help people understand their situation, make clear decisions, and take action that evolves over time.
